"Affair to Remember" will support Breast Health- Tickets Going Fast!!
Help support the Windom Area Hospital Foundation's Breast Health Fund by attending our Breast Health "Affair to Remember" at River City Eatery on Friday, February 3rd at 7:00 p.m. Tickets to this laid-back “black tie” event with a Black and Pink theme are $50 per person and will include appetizers, beverage, 3 course meal, entertainment, and fun! (If you have sparkles, wear them!) Proceeds from the event will go towards the purchase of digital mammography equipment for the hospital's Imaging Department. 22% Loss Leads Week 7 Results!
Team #1 has lost a whopping 22% of their original body weight at the end of Week 7 of the Weight Loss Challenge! Team 14 is in second place with an amazing 17% loss, while Team 8 is in third place with an impressive 10% loss. The team with the largest percentage of weight loss at the end of the competition will win a $390 cash jackpot. Way to go!!!


Hospital Offers Heart Disease Luncheon
Did you know that heart disease is the number one killer of Americans? In honor of National Heart Health Month, Windom Area Hospital will be hosting a FREE educational luncheon on Heart Health. Join us on Tuesday, February 14th at noon in the hospital’s large conference room as Windom Area Hospital’s Cardiac Rehab Manager Shannon LaCanne shares information on heart disease. Topics will include risk factors, the impact that lifestyle changes can have on your health, stress management techniques, and more. Foundation Offers Assistance to Breast Cancer Patients
The Windom Area Hospital Foundation has recently been raising money for the Breast Health Fund, which has been designated to support local breast health. The primary goal of the fund is to purchase digital mammography equipment for the WAH Imaging Department, but the fund will also support local breast health by providing community education and financial support to patients undergoing breast health treatments.   More
