Pastoral Care
Windom Area Hospital understands the
importance of spirituality in healing and our patient’s relationship with
their pastors and church family. We have created a clergy file for pastors
to access information about parishioners who are under our care. Patients
who wish to have their pastor visit may choose to be listed in the clergy
file. Windom Area Hospital will contact pastors for patients, if
specifically requested by the patient.
Windom Area Hospital
will provide chaplain services for patients upon request. Area clergy
volunteer their time to provide these services on an on-call basis. Please
contact your nurse or any hospital staff to arrange for chaplain services.
Chapel
Windom Area Hospital understands that spirituality plays an important role
in the healing process. In order to promote wellness in all aspects of
life, the hospital Chapel is available to all patients, families and
visitors who wish to have a quiet place for reflection. The chapel is
located near the cafeteria.
