The Wellness Center Group Exercise Classes

Group exercise classes are a motivational alternative to exercising alone. A variety of classes are offered at The Wellness Center (see class descriptions below). Exercise classes are included with your membership- no extra charge!

Power Yoga:

This is a flowing, faster paced class that includes a variety of poses and techniques.  It's recommended for those who are currently exercising at a moderate to high level.  Classes will be offered on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.  Pre-registration is required, as class size is limited to 10 people.  Call 831-0672 to register and confirm class dates today!   

Vinyasa Flow Yoga:

Vinyasa Flow is a series of yoga postures sequenced together in a flowing manner. Attention is focused on linking the breath to the body’s movements. This class is appropriate for students who are comfortable with a moderate level of exercise. It is not recommended for beginning exercisers or individuals with injuries. Classes will be offered on Mondays at 5:30 p.m.  Pre-registration is required, as class size is limited to 10 people.  Call 831-0672 to register and confirm class dates today!   

Zumba® Fitness:

Are you ready to party yourself into shape? That’s exactly what the Zumba® program is all about. It’s an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie burning dance fitness-party that’s moving millions of people toward health joy and health.

       Please call 831-0672 for the current schedule. 

Due to heavy participation, we are only able to allow 14 people to attend each class.  Sign-up for each class is required PRIOR to attending.  Thank you for your understanding as we try to provide the best experience for all of our members.  

SilverSneakers® Muscular Strength and Range of Movement: 

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

           Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.

Body Stretch and Strengthening:

A variety of methods will be used, including, but not limited to: TRX Suspension Trainer®, resistance bands, stability balls, dumbbells and barbells. The class is taught by a Fitour® Certified instructor who has participated in body building competitions.
